I was at our Hertford office yesterday taking some new photos for the website and formarketing, the office has been fully re-decorated withnew signs and interior and exterior lighting.

It has always been a super office but now looks even more up to date. Well done to Linda Cassidy who has completed five years with Anthony Davies last week !!

I am proud that all of my staff have been with us as long as they have which is Jean 8 years, Marc 6 years, Ben  6 years ,Linda 5 years, Enzo 2 years.

No Smoking : 28 days and doing well , No Swearing : doing well, learnt some new words off Enzo yesterday.

The above statement is the worst fear of every parent and boss………………….

We were office bound the other day when the statement was unleashed by one of our colleagues, me and enzlebert did not want to know what Ben was referring to but thankfully it turns out he and his girlfriend Emma have started listening to classical music……phew, we though he was going to say he liked wearing girly outfits or something..

Anyway, must crack on, got to get on the phone and book our inspections  for next week.

The Anthony Davies / Steven Oates office has been open since 4th January, these are the photos of the  finished shop which we are particularly pleased with.

Anyway now the hard work starts, we are already picking up new instructions and valuing properties, although there are excellent established letting agents in the town we are confident we will be able to find our space in the market.

Well, I let her have a read of last weeks midweek paper on account it only had a few pages in it, what is the point of producing this just so you can stick it straight in the re-cycle bin ?

Useful tip for the Mercury : Ditch the midweek paper and try to improve and bring up to date the weekly newspaper.

More rubbish weather today causing junior bordella everywhere and have not seen a rubbish man from Borough of Brox since before chrimble, what is going on, are we getting a rebate on council tax ?

Back to work in the bad weather, snowing again today and the whole locality stops, mind you happy days, not only did our competitors remain closed last week but most went home early today, can’t believe how lacklustre some agents are these days. We got a couple of deals away last week and had plenty of work to today as always, much too much to go home and play snowballs !!

Day 6 of stopping smoking and detoxing after christmas, no problem so far although Mrs D thinks I have gone from one extreme to the other…might even join the gym again !!

Bishops Stortford is now open and Potters Bar will be by the end of January, we are already picking up instructions in both areas and have viewings booked so we prepare to tie up our first deals shortly.
