As we come to the end of the year and this decade I would like to wish a very happy and prosperous new year to all our landlords and tenants.

Have a great new years eve and we are back at work full time on 4th January 2010.

The annual office olympian contest was as keenly contested as ever, held over four nights after work and in Dublin this years event consisted of Bowling, darts, 2 rounds of indoor cricket,endurance, bowl off, 330 metres and indoor basketball. The last event was indoor cricket and anyone could have won at this point but I had played my joker on this event and thanks to 12 wide balls from Enzo and a contentious four runs I secured the crown and received the trophy back from Ben, last years winner.

Dear Santa,

We at ADL have been exceptionally well behaved this year, although stressful at times we have maintained our politeness and manners at all times.

So Please can you send me for the new year the following :-

1. A really good property manager for the Hoddesdon shop who can work full time, five days a week, who is smart and intelligent and perhaps with some experience of lettings would be good.

2. A good young trainee negotiator, someone who has all the attributes to make a good career in lettings.

If you could see your way to sending these to me for christmas I would very much appreciate it and promise to give up smoking and swearing in the New Year.

On Monday little Anne had the best day ever, not only did she have her picture taken with Chirpy the Spurs mascot ( which annie thought was a giant penguin !!) and her GF Andriana , but after that me and Mrs D took the girls to see Miley Cyrus at the 02 in the evening as a surprise. Me and Mrs D are well cool in the Davies household at the moment !!

Talking about the penguin look, me and Ben were just saying that perhaps Chirpy could do with a makeover, he needs to look more like a cockerel than a penguin,I am going to e - mail that Gok Wan nufter to see what he can sort out.

We met up with Permatan and the Oatsey boys in Dublin last weekend for chrimble estate and letting jolly boys, what a great place, very friendly, cracking pubs and clubs, me and tony had an early night but Ben and Enzo carried on regardless and Colin is still counting up his drinks bill…….

How’s your luck Ben ?, in most workplaces you fall off your chair and your colleagues rush to assist you. Oh dear , he leaned back, he went, over, and over, then the leg got stuck, and your director Tony rushed for……………..the camera. ……………wallop…………..
