I am writing this to tell you about the worlds worst football supporter, he may have a great business and an 80’s haircut, he may be a talented designer and brilliant at slipping  off to the Queen for a few, he might even be able to sink more Jd’s than the Titanic but one thing he’s no good at is turning up at the Spurs.

He’s got a season ticket at Spurs in the West Stand Lower ( two seats away from Jude Law ), record so far this year 9 home games, turned up for one ( against the arsenal ). So if you want his ticket e mail me and I will get it for you. But don’t tell him I have given it away as he will tie you up and tell you about your parents !

Our Charity for 2008

November 24th, 2007

The end of 2007 completes our first decade for Anthony Davies. We intend to mark the event by launching a charity year for 2008.

Our chosen charity for the year will be the Chain Of Hope. The charity was set up by Sir Magdi Yacoub and is dedicated to giving children from less fortunate countries access to life saving heart surgery.

My eldest daughter Chloe had open heart surgery to save her life at 11 months old, nearly ten years ago. She was operated on by Sir Magdi on May 1st 1998, nearly ten years ago at Harefield hospital.

We are hoping to raise a substantial amount throughout the year through various fundraising events including a parachute jump for Ben, Enzo and Marc and culminating with a charity event later in the year.

We also hope to make an annual charity project after 2008 and are looking at LOCAL projects and charities for 2009. If you want to talk to us about a local project for 2009 please e mail me at richard@anthonydavies24.co.uk.

Rental Market 2008

November 23rd, 2007

I am often asked on my opinion for what is happening in the rental market and what is in store for the short term. Well the good news is the local rental market shows no sign of slowdown. So far in 2007 we have averaged over 50 rentals per month from our three shops, representing a 15% plus increase over 2006.

I would predict that rental levels will increase in the area by a further 20% in 2008. Good news also for property investors are that I expect local rent levels to rise + 10/15% over the next 12 - 18 months. We at Anthony Davies will be pro-active in increasing rents due to supply and demand.

We are aware that to get properties rented we will need to increase our advertising budgets over our many competitors to keep our properties at the forefront and to increase enquiries.

We already have our plans in place for 2008 and look forward to what I am sure will be an exceptional year.
